Privacy Policy

At Onlineadvancementpr LLC we respect your privacy and comply with the applicable legislation in Puerto Rico and the United States, including Act No. 39-2012 on the use of personal information, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the data minimization principles of the General Data Protection Regulation when it applies to visitors from the European Union.

1. Who is responsible for the processing

The data controller is Onlineadvancementpr LLC, registered with the Puerto Rico Mercantile Registry under number 478921-LLC, with offices at Calle de la Cruz 152, Suite 3B, Old San Juan, PR 00901. You can reach us at privacy@onlineadvancementpr.com.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the information you provide voluntarily through the contact form (name, email and message) and limited technical data (approximate IP address, device type and pages visited) when you authorize analytics cookies.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to answer your guidance request, prepare a preliminary eligibility analysis on federal or state programs, and improve our educational materials. We never use your data to make automated decisions with legal effects.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of your express consent when you submit the form, as well as our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and preventing abuse.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We only share information with technology providers that offer us hosting, transactional email and analytics services, under confidentiality and limited-use agreements. Only when you expressly authorize us do we send a copy of your file to government agencies that process your request.

6. Retention

We keep your data for the time necessary to handle your inquiry and afterwards for up to 36 months for accounting and internal audit reasons. You may request its deletion before that period.

7. Your rights

You can request at any time access, rectification, deletion, portability or restriction of the processing of your data by writing to privacy@onlineadvancementpr.com. You may also submit a complaint to the Puerto Rico Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), access controls, audit logs and periodic privacy training for the team.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the update date at the top and, if changes are substantial, we will notify you with a prominent notice on the site.
